Mad Tea Party Review: Queen of Hearts
Lily of the Valley, Calla Lily, stephanotis and a drop of cherry.
Acquired: imp from dannahmal @ lj
In the Bottle: Sweet cherry. Reminds me of a maraschino cherry.
Wet: On the skin, I can't smell cherry at all, just the soft lillies.
Drying: Very, very light floral -- almost not even there. It does start to turn powdery after a few minutes.
Dry: It comes back from powdery and stays a light, floaty floral. With a tiny bit of something sweet. The cherry I'm guessing.
Fade: It's a pretty fast fade -- less and half an hour on and it's faded down to a scent very close to the skin. But with this blend, I don't mind so much as I actually like the lightness. And hour later, it's staying at this level. Okay, two hours later I still have a nice floral, though it's turned a wee bit soapy.
Verdict: I really, really love this scent. Light and lady-like. Something that could be worn every day. I'll try it a few more times and see if I'll get a bottle.
