Mad Tea Party Review: Two, Five, and Seven

‘Would you tell me,’ said Alice, a little timidly, ‘why you are painting those roses?’ Five and Seven said nothing, but looked at Two. Two began in a low voice, ‘Why the fact is, you see, Miss, this here ought to have been a red rose-tree, and we put a white one in by mistake; and if the Queen was to find it out, we should all have our heads cut off, you know. So you see, Miss, we’re doing our best, afore she comes, to—’ A huge bouquet of squished rose petals: Bulgarian rose, Somalian rose, Turkish rose, Damascus rose, red and white rose, tea rose, wine rose, shrub roses, rose, rose, rose…… and just an itty bitty bit of green grass.

Acquired: imp from Nynaeve @ lj

In the Bottle: Sweet almost tangy rose.

Wet: A much lighter rose than any of the other scents I've tried. There's a bit of candy sweet tang to it.

Drying: It's not as sweet, but it is a very nice, light rose scent.

Dry: It's stayed a nice rose scent. I'm really liking the softness. It's not an overwhelming floral and I absolutely love the combination of roses.

Fade: An hour later, I've still got a nice, sweet rose scent that's pretty strong. Not as stong as when I first put it on, of course, but I like the way it's sitting. Hour and a half later, it's faded some, but still there close to the skin. The sweet scent from the beginning has faded away leaving a soft rose.

Verdict: I've been trying to find a rose blend that I really like and isn't too musky. I've absolutely loved this from bottle to fade and it's definitely going on my 'buy a bottle' list.
